The village of Bookham is situated on the A246, eight miles east of Guildford, six miles north of Dorking and two miles west of Leatherhead. Exit 9 of the M25 is only four miles away. The National Trust property of Polesden Lacey stands a mile outside the village to the south. The house and grounds are well worth a visit.

By car from London: Take the A3 to Cobham and Woking A245 turn-off, follow this road to Leatherhead. At the first roundabout take the right hand exit onto the A2122 which is signposted to Guildford and Bookham. At the next roundabout, take the A246 to arrive in Bookham.

By car from the M25: Turn off the M25 at junction 9, take the A24 to Leatherhead/Dorking. At the roundabout with the service station on your right, continue straight on, taking the A246 signposted to Guildford, to arrive in Bookham.

By train: Regular train services run from both Victoria and Waterloo to Bookham station, which is aproximately one mile from the gallery.

Buses from Bookham station stop imediately outside the gallery.
